The MS final will be contested between the two 20-year old upcoming superstars, Sen and Vitidsarn

Well done, LS. It was to be expected that the first tournament of the year would not be a fireworks of great badminton, but it is certainly nice that the ones who do offer some decent level of play are the two hungry, humble, likeable youngsters. I hope whatever the outcome of the game tomorrow, they'll both have enough left in the tank for the AE.

What a match !. Great temperament shown by the youngster. It's worthy of a final.

Stayed calm as well. It was Axelsen who made the two unforced errors to finish the game, not LS. That alone will be a fantastic experience for Lakshya. "I can do this when it gets tight, I've done it before against the #1."

Sad to see ZYM drop out like this, looks like the two dives in the first halve of the third set really took a toll on her back...

Had a very good chance to beat CYF today

This match was fair and square with both players trying their hardest as was evident. it was not gifted to lakshya nor did Axelsen go "easy" in any way as some had suggested. Well played from both sides and hope they can get in peak physical condition before AE( Lakshya had many straps on his shoulder).

VA gotta stop giving out his secret training. Players who trained with him like LKY and LS are starting to beat him. Hehhheh

Edit: maybe Brian Yang and Toby will be next to beat him? Lol
Brian Yang has the potential so that is not too farfetched.

Lakshya has trained with Viktor for only 15 days and then he never went back.

That’s how effective his training is. LKY trained with Viktor only for a month (maybe two) and he became World Champion!

People talk much about Dubai camp as if Viktor was a greatest coach in the world.

If someone won the super match, or a tournament or got a gold medal, that is their talent and hard work along with their coaches.

Not just only they came to Dubai and coached by Viktor.

Exactly. People are over crediting Vikor and Dubai camp. While Lakshya has definitely learned a lot from Axelsen and others at Dubai, but he was there was just 15 days. After that, it's been 5-6 months. Lakshya's success credit goes to his coaches, support system too and mainly to he himself.
