    How you guys find the new 11 points best of 5 scoring system ?! The game becomes too short and by the time you sit to follow the game it is over or change of ends?!!! Some matches are ending up just in 12 minutes and many matches with in 15-17 min. I am wondering why the matches have to be too short !!!!

    I don't think this is more entertaining....game too short...or just heat up then finish another set.

    She stepped up in XD semifinal but not WD this time. INA assured 2 final tickets through XD and MS.

    SEMIFINALS (02.00pm, 2 courts) => http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/sport/matches.aspx?id=3137A8FA-3216-474E-8AF7-08845FC0945A

    Strong fave Ouseph will be challenged by Jayaram to hunt final ticket and WS top-seed Zhang BW cruised smoothly en route to semifinal. Interesting tie, Pai Yu Po v Fontaine Mica Chapman, an English talent who performed superbly during Uber Cup last May.

    This new system is not exciting.
    The 1st & 2nd game between ZBW and Febe only took less than 6 minutes.

    FINALS (12.30pm) => http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...37A8FA-3216-474E-8AF7-08845FC0945A&d=20141012

    INA has representative in all finals except WS discipline, XD should be the biggest chance to nail title.
    MS, it's first ever GP final for young INA Ihsan Maulana Mustofa who grabbed bronze medal in last year WJC. Ajay Jayaram who shocked top-seed Ouseph yesterday will be determined to top podium today.
    WS, Zhang BW is favoured to win her 4th title in this year after Peru IC, US GPG, BRA GP.

    Is there any one who watch it live to see the different how player playing with the new scoring system? This would boost the offensive player more imo.

    Congrats to Zhang Beiwen for winning the Yonex Dutch Open, her first GP Title I think. Sorry second GP after the US.

    I missed the match but got to see her at the podium receiving her prize with runner-up Pai Yu Po of Taipei, whom she beat in 3- straight games under this experimental 11-point system. The tournament is now showing in StarHub 203.

    Zhang Beiwen is a good all-rounder, steady,calm and confident. She and Michelle Li appear to me to have similar playing style and composed temperament, it will be interesting to know which of the two will rule the Americas in WS, not only in their H2H but also in their career results.

    A well-deserved victory to ZBW, the Dutch Open 2014 WS champion. Personally, 27 minutes for a WS Final seems a bit too short, esp when one side wasn't exactly comprehensively outplayed, I doubt I can warm up to the 11x5 scoring system.

    Almost missed the TV live telecast, no indication of it the previous few days, apparently a last-minute inclusion.

    Can't help feeling the prize money is measly, USD1,900 for the Runner-up and USD3,750 for the Champion, nothing new.

    Even when she was younger in SIN, ZBW showed greater resilience and physical ability than GJ, both of whom were from the same batch I think. But GJ's net touches must be better.

    Indeed, after covering for plane ticket, food and lodging, I wonder how much balance is available for the runner-up. Sometimes can't blame our youngsters for giving badminton a miss. As Yeo Lei has said, it is hard physical work during training.

    Congrats to Widianto & Dili for capturing the XD title over the Dutch team.

    Widianto was also one FT who nearly played for SIN.

    Yes! And they should, at the very least, not award the prize money at the victory ceremony. It appears real cheap, atleast to me.

    I think this scoring system makes the matches less exciting:(
