great day for India. 4 matches, 4 wins. I didn't see SN's match, so I am curious to know if SN won today due to her better play or due to Mitani's poor performance...

Even I didn't watch it. I am looking forward to watch the recorded match.

Just finished watching the replay of Lin Dan vs Chou Tien Chen, I 'm afraid I don't like what I've seen. He appeared less keen, not really into the match, certainly not as sharp as he was at the Asian Games; esp the way he lost G2 in the 2nd half was horrible, so many amateurish, simple, unforced errors, and he had the mood (and temerity) to execute one of his special, exhibition shot on his opponent who didn't seem amused by it.

True he bucked up in G3, still on the whole an unimpressive victory by his standard. I'd venture to say if he played the same manner later today against JOJ, he's not going to avenge his defeat on him this time; in a way lucky for JOJ, no disrespect to him by saying so. We'll see, who knows Lin Dan may fool me again like he did the last time.

Of course of her better play. She dominated throughout not only the straight smashes but also the rallies..minatsu failed to read SN as well she was throughout blank and meek and submissive enough to make a good strategy..
As well her defence was also not like it is used to be..

Chen Long is not anintelligent, analytical player. Tanongsak's gameplan is net, drives and smashes, yet Chen Long is not anticipating it well enough, still reeacting to the opponent's shots more often than not.

I think Chen Long just don't know how to break free from the bind, he's on the way out.

    Getting difficult for CL..
After loosing G1 he is not able to have a healthy lead in G2 also..its very tight..I wish Tanongsak continues the way he played till now...all the best don't let your nerves overpower your talent

Tanongsak will use all his power in first 2 games. If it goes beyond it, he is like a bursted baloon.

Chen escaped by the skin of his teeth in the second game. Now for rubber.

Chen Long has to take the net away from Tanongsak, if he wants to win this third game...

Powerful smash by Chen Long to close out the second game. The winner is a foregone conclusion, although the earlier sets have been close.

A narrow escape for Chen Long in G2 despite holding two gamepoints, imo. Expect G3 to follow the same pattern unless CL finds a way to break TS's rhythm.

Tanongsak is winning most of the net exchanges.

She looks physically stronger and mentally more focussed than her male partner jongjit..

CL is none the wiser in G3 so far. TS drives straight even from the backline, CL should be at the net ready to intercept, also he must try to beat TS at the net.

A Lin Dan or a Lee CW won't allow TS to settle in such a gameplan comfortably for too long. CL needs to learn more from Sun Jun how to play smart and not fall into the opponent's trap but turn it against him instead. Easier said than done, for me watching in the comfort of my home. Such things have to come from acquired knowledge and accumulated experience and maturity, coupled with a certain degree of intelligence.

It's too close to call atm but TS always seem to have a slender edge. I feel CL to go down in the end, he's not doing anything different to unsettle TS's strategy.
