And he had such a gigantic lead too! Poor Tago...not very mentally strong perhaps?

the problem is how further he can maintain his performance. He often saying that his body not going well with his mind. The long long injury indeed reducing his career and performance till we knew it today. I hope he can gain what he have in the past.

Quite inexplicable that an experienced and mature player like K Tago could fritter away a commanding lead to lose the game and match to someone who may arguably be better than him but certainly not a class above.

The German MD are back in, a fighting chance to level up in G2, 19-17 now.

Yeah, i was also very surprised with his sloppy play, always late to the shuttle and out of balance. Expected much more of him after a well performance at japan open.

It was upsets galore in the 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]round of the main draw: SDK (U) beat KT (S4), BYJ (U) beat JS (S3), CYK (U) beat TS (S7), KKJ/KSY (U) beat CPS/GLY (S5), CY/CB (U) beat LYL/QZH (S5). The Chinese new pairings of CY/CBand FHF/HW continue to shine and the Indonesian men’s singles players just didn’t perform with the exception of SDK who beat KT in straight games. R.M.VGurusaidutt also did well to beat his compatriot AJ in straight games. BAM should consider breaking up the pairing of Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying whose continued dismal performances do not justify their exalted ranking. There is just no chemistry in their play.

CWF has all the strokes, good skills, good fitness and the 2nd best training partner in the world.
I think he will Click soon over the next 6mths to a year. He has to learn to sustain play over a full
tournament and should reach Quarterfinals ans a few semis.

K Tago always dissapoint when we expect him to do well. Why? Maybe he's not hungry enough -
well thats the impression I get watching his sloppy play.

S Nehwal in good form after blistering IBL performance and Gilmour was simply outclassed.
But SN can also do a Tago next and lost when we expect her to perform.

I saw the match. Nehwal, too, can play better than that. She was middling, but Gilmour was even worse and that made Nehwal's win all the more easier.

That was just bad playing from Gilmour, period.
