Anyone who treats his body like a sketch pad really needs to be checked for mental issues I think. I do feel a little bad for JOJ whenever I see that ugly Jim Morrison tattoo on his right arm. It is so passe and horribly done - he really needs to shoot his tattooist for that, or at least get a full refund. I really hope he doesn't add any more 'body art' on his beautiful body - too much of anything is mental.
Qiao Bin was 18-15 up in the third set when he screwed up to lose the match. But I must say Marc is not only a persistent fighter, he's smart, steady, and very determined. At that point, he kept playing nets and bringing the shuttle down at every instant, not allowing QB any attacking chances, reducing him to defending smashes until he cracked.
http://badzine.de/news_detail.php?id=528 The article says that JOJ is having hip problems and is hardly able to practice. And he says that he is afraid of surgery because it would take 6-8 months to recover and he feels like he would not be able to come back after that. He also says that he is moving like an old man because of that.
But probably because of fitness issues and lack of match practice. I think the racket skills and anticipation remain.
