    This tournament got Beijing Olympic event cause only a very few top badminton players participated in here. The rest top players still had some rest.

    Very good chance for lots of players who still have not won title this year to win one here. :)

    Not only Chinese TPE Open has got effect of Beijing Games, even upcoming Super Series event like China Masters will be attended by few entries. As top-seed Simon should take this opportunity to win here after two times became runner-up in back-to-back SS, SIN and INA last June.
