I think it depends on sales and demand

I attended the astrox 99 LCW launching event and the organiser announce that yonex will only produces 20k of ax99 lcw. Maybe they will add on the numbers if the demand is high. Who knows..

Hi, is ax99 4u suitable for high paced doubles? I consider myself as all-round player, like to smash and pressure opponents at the front court. I use arcsaber 11 3u and duora 10 3u. Is ax99 4u more maneuverable than these 2?

Ax99 4u is slower than arc 11 and duora 10 3U, it is little HH almost like ZF2 4U.

I think ax99 lcw is perfect for doubles..itsno where as uncomfortable as zf2 or even the normal ax99..im currently using it for doubles back court play..it’s very well balanced and the punch is unbelievable

Isn't the lcw the same as the newer ax99? I got mine a month ago and it's pretty nice for doubles

I have no doubt for the ax99 capabilities at the back court. What i am worrying is its maneuverability at the front court.

light is good for maneuverability, isn't this is what you after? double game is not about power smash anymore, speed is the key.

If this is the case, forget about ax99 even 4u. LCW ax99 4u is possibly ok.

Yes, ax88s 4u is good at the front court, but not enough power at the back.

Sound like 88D 4U is exactly what you need.

I tried 88d 4u, it has the capabilities that i am looking for but i dont like the feel. Just wondering is there a very big difference between 88d n 99 in terms of maneuverability?

Due to the chart, they are close, but many people say 88D faster than 99 (normal 99; not many reviews from 99lcw).
