Your shoulder problems shouldn't come from the stiffness in this case, since the js10 is stiffer than the 88s and 88d. It might be a wrong technique which worked with the js 10 but not with the head heavier 88s. For example smashing outside of your body's core (shuttle land left/right of you when not getting hit instead of in front of your shoes). If that is the reasoning, you should stay away from the 88d since the problem becomes worse.
Had this issue with the JS12 someone time ago. Switching back to JS10, all OK. Blut in the past I was playing HH rackets like Li Ning 90 III. I will give the 88D a try to check which the reason is but it might be difficult to borrow one . Otherwise will go back to JS 10.
My own personal experience with 88D 3UG5 after two weeks. Realized it is very important to find and get use to the sweetspot of the racquet, and due to the head heaviness and 3U, it might get slower while defending. (Might due to my own personal skill as well)
Rip 88s. While I barely escaped falling in front of the bus's left tire, the racket that I was carrying separately in a gosen bag wasn't so lucky. Wonder what I should get next. lol.
Bah... I would've stuck my leg in there to stop the bus from rolling over my racket... Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
I'm pretty sure the remains of the racquet is still intact, and I'm sure you did recover them , so I'm curious to see what it looks like. If you can kindly post a picture or two, that would be wonderful . BTW, sorry for your lost !
As Genk mentioned it's probably your technique... Don't hit the shots... throwing your shoulder... It will shorten your badminton 'career'. With the 88S, you probably got injured with the heavier head weight frame. I'm guessing you are using the old emerald black JS10 instead of the new watermelon JS10Q. (more HH) Jetspeed are aerodynamic frames, helping you to get a faster swing. You find them easier to swing but you might be swinging it wrong. You might want to improve your technique and physical attributes to effectively use 88S or D. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
Haven't try yours yet though.. JS11. I went from old JS10 4U to 3U then to JS10Q 3U. It's like a mini ZF2 version 2. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
I always felt the original 10 was head heavier. My 10Q feels more even balanced. More reminiscent of a more solid BS10. Sent from my LG-H930 using Tapatalk
Didn't get anywhere with my old JS10. Decided to sell it after seeing how easy my opponents return my smashes. Stepped into favourite stringer shop to string an old racket and somehow bought the watermelon racket the same day I sold the old js10.. My watermelon and 88D BP is only 1mm apart. 302mm and 303mm. With strings and grip. But I smash harder with my watermelon racket. My physical attributes limitations. Haha. In the end, it's all about racket suitability to the user. @esppy kor kor u want to buy my 88D? Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk
It was raining so hard that it could be passed off as a mini storm. Having survived it, I was in such a mental turmoil that I didn't look back. A more settled self recommend shreyas we go retrieve what's left but he suggested we go home instead.
My regards to you and your soulmate 1 month short of the new AX99... but think of it this way - 1 month is also about the time your next racquet will last you
I know that the 88s are pretty much out of the limelight currently but has anybody noticed the game of Ginting with an A88D? I mean we can't see those power smashes anymore. His smashes are very take-able coming from an A88D. Goes to show how far this racket can change your game. Not sure if this racket will benefit Ginting forward. Maybe it is an attempt to change his game to a less tiring and more patient one so that he can match Momota. One thing is for sure, the smashes of Ginting with the A88D is nothing like his smashes with the VZF2! Momota is driving everyone crazy!
For sure the racquet has a pretty noticeable effect, especially when moving from something so extreme like the zf2 to just about anything else. Tbh imo, there's no real reason to switch to 88D just to play a more control based game. You can choose not to smash with zf2 and play control. That's basically what LD does.
