Correction, I use G whatever as I usually modify my racquets anyway~... The only thing is that I use 2U if there is available or 3U for Armortec's. I believe you know that reason with the Cab30, Matt.....LOL~ My arm naturally neglects weight of the racquet, provided that I modified it to my liking. Haha~ By the way, Ti-99 2U from Victor is awesome!
Played once today.I havent found this racket as powerful as it's advertised.Strung mine with BG80 25,26 ,just like it's advertising..80 for offensive game.Well..imo,this racket is preety hard to use in the double, due to its smaller frame. But,i tried to use it in single..a good racket for it.Since it's been a while since yonex made a small head shape like this one. So,one must be really get used to it.Will try to use it again tommorow in a double game.
it would appear that not many people are liking the "z" that much maybe it takes a long time to get used to
Logically, if the head's smaller, the tension should be less than one's favorite tension in the regular isometric head....then maybe getting used to the new Z should be easier??
hey bro why do you recommend bg80? according to the yonex graph bg80 is for hard hitting whereas the bg66 is for control which is on the opposite end of the graph? do you mean bg85? is it durable?
Hi, You are right on the Yonex string chart. However, if you are string breaker, that means you are a hard hitter. The thin string like BG66 will play well but die quick. That is why I do not vote BG66 for hard hitter. I did find Bg85 does not work as well as BG66 on ARC-Z for me. That is why I say I usually use BG85 but not this time. String cost is a none issue for me. However, it might be for other users.
So BG80 is for hard hitting not control then. What other strings would you recommend for the Arc Z? With good control preferable. Cheers.
Ants, Whoa! That's real cool pix you got there. Looks like yellow arrows waiting to be let loose with a vendeance! MetalOrange P.S. I just love my Arc ZS (JP version; 2u @28/30).
