Fu netted it , an easy point, to give the title to Bo/Moe. Haiz.

To think Fu/Zhang in previous rounds were able to win single-digit sets, esp the one against Mads/Mads.

Okay Mathias Boe / Carsten Mogensen won the match over Zhang Nan / Fu Haifeng. (21-15, 22-20) That is why the combination of Cai Yun / Fu Haifeng will be better.

    Very uncharacteristic of Fu.

This pair must be one going to Olympics. Why else would LYB be coaching them?

I think Fu being the senior partner and OG MD champion became more self-conscious and felt the pressure of the burden of expectation on Final's day which affected his game somewhat as he couldn't play as well as he did the previous rounds.

I'm not convinced Fu is definitely going to the Olympics. If Zhang just needs a big smasher as his partner China have other options.

this just shows that at the very very top level, where games are determined by a margins of 2-3 points, a couple of mistakes can make the difference between standing at the top or 2nd step of the podium.

Yes have to agree with you. No worries lol KZ. For Goh V Shem / Tan Wee Kiong case, they already promied to bounce back in the Swiss Open and play to their best to reach the semis. It will be difficult lol. I Guess this is due to Goh V Shem injuries.

LYB is running out of options. Olympic qualification will begin in two months. I don't think Zhang Nan will go back to Chai B. No way!

It's a tough call. FHF is really showing his age. ZN performs better in MD than I expected. The biggest decision for LYB is obviously whether to lock up a XD gold with ZN/ZYL or risk the XD gold for a potential MD gold. Tough call!

Steen Pedersen was commenting that he'd like to see a ZN/LXL partnership. I suppose it's because both players are fast, all-round players, following the trend of LYD/YYS, MA/HS, etc.

While such a pair might work well, it would be a tough call breaking up a moderately successful pair in LXL/QZH

LXL/QZH should stay together. They're very accustomed to each other's game and have their own game philosophy which was working really well for them before QZH's untimely knee injury midway through ... 2013, was it? I feel like they're finally getting closer to reaching that level of consistency with each pass tournament now.

I would like to see ZN paired with Hong Wei. I think he's a very solid player in all areas of his game and would compliment ZN well. I honestly feel that if HW had been paired with someone with a bit more mental toughness than Chai Biao, he'd be one half of China's top MD partnership by now. No disrespect to CB, he has good ability but I've not seen a player like him whose game simply falls to pieces at the most important times since Robert Blair.
