And I feel that SY is not fast enough in retrieving net shots, as if she is watching where her opponent is standing before taking it.

BWF under the current leadership is getting worse in their live streaming coverage policy, tightening their grips; they are trying to force fans to pay the expensive subs of sport channels like the ones under Fox et alia. Table tennis, volleyball etc have much better support for their fans worldwide wrt the live streaming coverage.

SY as a tall big player is a bit slow to bend down and get up when returning drop shots. And Saina is playing many drop shots.

The score shouldn't be so close, expect Saina to lead by a clear margin.

SY's inexperience shows, keeps letting Saina do the same thing to her, and tentative when attacking and in the follow-up.

SY keeps smashing into the net, mistiming her shots, a sign of nerves and lack of confidence. Why be so uptight when she is the underdog.

That's why actual International experience really matters. Sun Yu now should be allowed to participate in some real number of tournaments for her own sake.

Though I'm still very impressed by her improvement.

One of the problems with Sun Yu is that she is predictable largely. She doesn't smash much. Isn't aggresive enough. She should work on that.

SY may be the only WS left standing but she is not expected to hold the fort , so , stop putting unnecessary pressure on herself.

Sun Yu, c'mon, you're not expected to win, just throw caution to the wind, go with the flow. Attack more, let off steam.

I can sense Chen Jin's impatience and a bit of frustration, as when SY keeps hitting into the net.
