Yeahh. But I'll say that teenage me was more emotional for his idol LCW.

LS was calm and collected while LZJ played with little maturity. How many times has he led the game and gave it away. We’ll deserved by LS and hopefully a painful lesson for LZJ for looking down on his opponent

LS is a little bit more stable and consistent than LZJ who if he can be more consistent too, the latter would be a slightly tougher nut to crack. Atm,I'd say the two are evenly matched.

Very good game plan by Laksha. I knew he was saving his energy when LZJ took a lead in the 2nd set and Laksha decided he couldn't catch up, so Laksha just stopped smashing and played defensively to conserve his energy. Laksha was also very patient throughout this series against LZJ.

My one comment about Laksha's game is that I think he needs to work on his fitness and stamina. By far, LZJ was doing so much more jump & power smashes this match. Laksha hit a lot of smashes from the back court without even jumping, even though he had a lot of time to jump. I think Laksha just didn't have the stamina & fitness to do the jump smashes against LZJ. From an energy perspective, I think LZJ expended more energy and stamina that Laksha this match. I think LZJ is probably the fitter player between the two. So I think Laksha needs to work on his stamina/fitness and make it better.

No, it's an ex Korean MD player, who won a Silver medal in Olympic games. Interesting he's coaching in MS.

LS is such a fresh of breath air in Indian MS. We rarely see Indian display mental fortitude. I'm so used to watching Indian MS players lose in tight situation, but he is holding his nerve in crucial stages time after time. He won in a tight match against Viktor last week and also in quarters of WC.

He is from Uttarakhand, the state near the foot hills of Himalaya mountains, they say pahadi (mountainous) people have good stamina and genes.

Didn't I told you all. LZJ really needs to hold his horses or calm his ****(you know what I mean). He started getting too cocky ever since he started getting better of LS and deep down I knew right there and then that LS will come back to win it. What composure from the youngster. PPBA needs to protect him from all that media hype you get in India at any cost. Way to go. Dil garden garden ho gaya. :D

As I mentioned and Morten commented Sen is more technically astute, he beat Anders, who is also technically gifted player.
First Indian MS player in the final for AEO for a very long time. The ending was a thriller!

Remarkable show of character by LS. He was composed even when trailing in the third set. Played patiently forcing LZJ to commit unforced errors, caught up and then attacked to close the match. Superb. Incredible run to the finals. An Indian in the finals after 21 years.

Way too passive. A gruelling match yesterday plus LS did need to play probably contributed to the result. Congrats to LS!

In the end, hard work and focus defeats an arrogance.
    A very well deserved win.
    Congrats LS

My hand still shaked, wow, just wow.

I know Lakshya was fun but he should don't throw the racket to the air. I'm afraid that there is an incidence, if the racket hit someone, It can be Djokovic's case in Winbledon.
