Yonex ALL ENGLAND 2021 : R/32-Final (Birmingham, 17-21 March)

Sindhu's last night gruelling match against Akane taking a toll.
Not sure if it's just that, she really doesn't have a plan B. Her attack isn't that sharp today and Chochuwong is almost everywhere on the court. And it looks like she has already given up.

If you watched yesterday's match, you would know. Both the players have given everything

I did watched yesterday's match, infact all the other matches not just sindhu's and it's not the first time she has played a tough match a day before playing another important match the very next day. Infact, she has won back to back tightly contested matches many times before so this "you would know" is just a lame excuse nothing more. Chochuwong played impeccably, don't take that away from her.

What's with Thai coaches constant barrage of instructions all the way through out every game? I've noticed this since the older days of boonsak ( older coach..talks non stop) and now this younger coach..seems to talk non stop too

Chochu played well. Never allowed Sindhu to settle in the match. At the second half of the first game, she committed some mistakes but regained her composure. In the second game, it was all Chochu. I hope Sindhu rectifies her mistakes and prepare really well now. Btw is there any rift bw Sindhu and Gopichand or is it just rumours ?

Still better than the Japanese women's doubles coach. He's another level. :D

I think it is just the animosity between her, and SN. That’s why she is training at a different facility

curious, how does the AE shuttle dispenser works now?
The previous ones were from a tube pushed down by gravity...

Yeahh. Its annoying to see them not take advantage of absence of some top players.
I second your thoughts, highly disappointed by the whole Indian contingent. Specially the men's singles and all the doubles players. Now when it comes to nominations for the national awards and stuff these people come out firing all guns if they aren't nominated. They don't quite show that fire in their performances.

Isn't that the case here in this country? First they'll perform well and then state govt and others will spoil them with excessive rewards etc. Then their slump in form will happen but still they'll have that inflated egos.

The shuttles are still in the store tubes, possibly pushed something in the other end to get a few poking on top. Nothing as nice as the ones from Thailand haha
