I've never seen Momota play like this, looks very stiff and missing sweetspot often, lots of short clears.

It was noticed that often before the challenge he looks at his coach. So maybe it's not always him who has this "robot eye" ))

LZJ is keeping up pace, smart of him not to rest in g2. If Momota can come back from this, it'll be testament to the strength of his mental game.

If LZJ beats Momota but dont win the title it will be a waste

Don't think so, to be honest. Momota is not playing well, but it would certainly be a motivation stepstone. Lee has never won anything, so beating Momota (albeit out of form) and Axelsen/Antonsen for a 1000 title would be a lot to ask. Getting to the final here and putting up a good show would be a major achievement he can build on.

Looks like Momota is coming back, LZJ dropping pace and making mistakes.

Watching someone even playing after a scandal, car accident, eye surgery, and positive covid test is amazing.

On another note.. LZJ is sharp!

LS is a philanthropist, like 80% of opponents points are donated by him.

Not fair, we should cancel All England because KM has lost and with the last shot he wasn’t able to use the strings. #cancelallengland #bwfmustberesponsible
