lol i just finished reviewing Adcocks vs YutaArisa .....

this ArisaHigashino is exactly what Praveen needs.... not weakling Debby not slow-ass Melati

too bad there is probably no INA player resembling her....

A bit disappointed at how TakaMatsu lost again to Matsumoto/Nagahara. Also a bit frustrated that Matsumoto and Nagahara won since they would almost definitely lose to Juhl/Pedersen in straight games anyway. What a waste.

Interseting to see now too if Fukushima and Hirota have what it takes to beat Tanaka/Yonemoto. I think they don’t and they may probably lose in straight games again similar to Dubai SSF.

Just watched the LD/LCW match. LD deserved the win. the real LCW just wasn't there. too slow, too many errors, no initiative, no fire.

despite so, it was still quite an entertaining match.

Son Wan Ho issues a warning to Shi Yuqi : '' I know how to play him. I have beaten him many times before.''
This won't go down well with Shi Yuqi.

The last time they played, he got bodied in straight sets. Shi Yuqi has improved a lot the past year, I don't think their head to head from 2016 and earlier mean much.

LD made a lot of mistakes too especially in the first half of the first game. Both are slow now but LCW was slower last night. He appeared very nervous to me, strange for a player with his kind of experience

LCW opens up about defeat :

"“I tried to attack but he defended very well. Every shot I tried, he was returning. Things didn’t go to plan,”

Prannoy lost the match in 3 games with 21-23 in the decider.

Atleast i expected him to reach semis.

I didn't expect Huang Yuxiang and Shi Yuqi playing so well here in AE.

You cannot break down LD's defense so easily unless your are VA.

An epic battle and a great rivalry is developing between PV Sindhu and Nozomi Okuhara. The players warm exchange at the end of the match is good sportsmanship! :)

You're so right, can't agree with you more. There will be no quarters given, and for sure Lin Dan is bent on avenging that CBSL humiliation that caused his team, Qingdao, a place in the final.

My concern is still whether Lin Dan has enough juice to take it to the final where another tough match awaits him. Kind of sad for me the thrilling Lin Dan - LCW face-off wasn't the final as it deserves to be.

I'm looking forward to see how Lin Dan defy the ravages of age and lifts our hearts again.
