can I know how does it work? If Satwik/Chirag wins 2-0 against the British pair they still won’t be able to qualify ?

This is tough situation Shetty/RR in. they would want to win but they know they wont qualify but losing means they will finish last.

I think they are out already.

They cant get a set diff of +2 as they lost in straight to minions, where as Lee Wang lost their game in 2-1 to India.

If AhsanHendra can beat these young pairs like they are not there, hell why bother to retire.

Ahsan/hendra playing style are beautful, you just need a pair that can withstand their attack so the match wouldn't be so boring lol

What does group C women’s doubles look like? Saw the Australians beat Denmark today.

Im still confused about how the points thing works in the group. Won’t it be the same though if they beat the English pair 2-0?

Right now they are -1 in set difference.
    2-1 in match1
    0-2 in match2
    2-3 = -1 in total.

If they win this match 2-0 (hardly possible) then set diff = -1+2 = +1, but set diff is +3 for minions and +2 for Lee Wang.

No, if they win 2-0 they will have won 4 games and lost 3 games which puts them at a +1 game diff.

What I don't get is how they rank the pairings? 'Cause I see the Minions placed 2nd place Group A when they have +3 game diff compared to Lee/Yang @ +2 who are on top of the group. Is it a H2H thing?

If I understand correctly in group C for women, only Korea's victory over China qualifies them.

Hard luck to Satwik/Chirag. So close yet so far. BWF has to do something different reg deciding qualifiers in case of equal points.

    Let's go India
