I can't stand the two English commentators on the HBJ vs. Okuhara match

I'm too used to Gillian Clark and Morten Frost commentating. I'm opening hands to the unknown commentators despite if they know much about badminton or not.

13-8 Okuhara leads. Game 1 over imo, I have no faith in HBJ.

Very smart by HBJ to clear at the deep backhand corner of Okuhara.

Yes, that is Okuhara's weakness, if you can get her to play the backhand there, but her movement is so good it's very difficult

Okuhara 19th point with that backhand she did was surprisingly good. I definitely agree with what you said.

Yeah that crosscourt backhand was top quality. Even took HBJ by surprise since she was cheating for the straight drop.

I too sort of cringe when hearing anyone other than Gill / Morten commentate - they generally know NOTHING about badminton.

The worst ones HAVE to be the American commentators on the Lin Dan vs Lee Chong Wei GM match at Beijing in 2008 - they kept calling Lee Chong Wei "Lee Chong".

    21-13 first game to Okuhara.

I don't think HBJ even wins a game against her.

Ironically they both are attacking on their backhand side of the court.

Okuhara has been faulted from her backhand kill. Did indeed touch the net.

The kinda of transformation HBJ went through is a bit what I expected everyone to go through for Olympics.

I don't see Okuhara winning this tbh. CHN have been killing in G3.

I noticed 3 things that HBJ did so far in the 2 sets she played against Okuhara.

Deep forehand corner, deep backhand corner, and the backhand side net of Okuhara.

    Duplicate points 21-13 and 13-21
