That's fine with me...yay to feather!...and i'll definately be in contact with Pete LSD. Does badrad come down to VRC often? Don't mind a rude awakening from his backhand drive/smash.

    the countdown begins...

Yay...the days are counting down till my first visit to VRC....

PeteLSD...are you guys picky on the birds that people bring? Does the VRC pro shop sell birds (~$20) tube.

The majority of the birds that are used at my club in Toronto are:
Sea Lion Black (IBF approved), Victor Blue, or Aeroplane (G1130 and Super G1130 - both IBF approved).

Bring the SG-1130 over :D . We are not picky at all ;) :D . Are the Aeroplane speed 78?

Yes, VRC Pro Shop sells Victor shuttles for 20 + bucks.

All out of the Aeroplane SG-1130 (speed 50).

I'll probably be bringing a tube of Sea Lion Black with speed of 77.

are you kidding me?? i'm going to freeze in there.

if it's cold the bird travels more slowly correct or is it the other way around?

We tend to tip our birds (every other) which i'm guessin is in a room temperature gym...

oh well... what can you do..

We try not to tip the bird as it will fly funny. Speed 77 from Aeroplane at 10 C in Vancouver will fly like a snail :) . Speed78 will complain about using so much effort to hit the darn thing over the net :D :D :D .

G-1130 tends to be faster than Aeroplane's speed rating. SG-1130 is a lot more stable.

speed 77 sounds appealing if you're playing against timeless and/or cappy75 ... those young 'uns are getting faster and faster everytime we play.

Well, you know me, no hard hitter and slow around the court - it's always nice having a slow bird against those young and powerful hard hitters!! ;)
