Hi, I was just at world juniors as part of the US team...we didn't do too well obviously but anyways...got back last night and went to school this morning...anyways here are some pictures I took. The quality is not very good, but it was a great experience and much fun.

chen jin vs. lee...team finals china vs korea.

Me and my partner warming up before our germany match. there was literally no warm up time on the court...and it was FREEZING...so you had to spend an hour warming up before your match getting loose and stuff like that...

    Our game...

I couldn't...because no flash photography allowed. which means a longer shutter speed...and blurry pictures...especially since it was kinda dark in the arena for picture taking.

Oh I understand you can't have flash, but you can brace against an object like a pole or a ledge :D That is often very useful.

hahaha yeah, but they were more like snapshot photos. The courts were kind of bumpy too...it sounded like there were boards underneath certain parts of the court.

i'm not a ice rink expert but i'm guessing the floor is made thin for better ice cooling. The boards are used to distribute the stress from jumpsmashing badminton players :p

You mean the one that called everything that landed out, IN?! And everything that was in, OUT!?! Hahahahaha~ J/K~ :D

BTW, it was great having you out to VRC so often during the week of the games. You certainly gave the boys a good taste of your panhandle-fu!
