World Junior Championships 2007 Finals pictures

The final contest of the tournament was China against Korea in the men's doubles. Top seeds Tian Li and Biao Chai (China) won the first set 26-24 with both sides using some aggressive tactics. However, as the match continued, the Chinese duo complained regularly about the driving service action of their Korean counterparts Eui Seok Chung and Baek ChoelShin.

I don't think the reporter got it quite right... I think they were protesting against the fault service calls against them from the service judge - I think these were mostly when Tian Li were serving.

Then again... that's how I saw it.

Thanks much..

..for sharing the pics w/us, noluckjim..;)..I reckon those are or will be the future stars in the pro badminton circuit..

Not that many still cameras out there

Thanks to those who said thanks :)

To be honest, I think I was taking more pictures than the actual photographer (he always seemed to be there only late in the second game in each event!). Wish I could sit by the court like he could... :(

I also don't recall seeing much photography. A couple people had point and shoot cameras, but otherwise I think there were more video camera recordings there :)

I like the pics you've taken. The emotions, the tensions and the joys!
Did you say you took them manual? If so, very commendable indeed! :)

Are you asking just a general question or specifically about this tournament? Cause Henry & Chance are now 19, so were too old for the tournament. (& Chance doesn't seem to be playing much now)There is a picture of Ethan competing at the Badminton NZ website.
