Kristin Junita who won 1992, she beat Yao Yan in Final
She ended her badminton career because of injury during Pelatnas
I think she married with Malaysian guy and lived in there, trained the junior players but I don't know where state.

Santoso/Kusno are unknwon and didn't hired to Pelatnas too, the runner up are more popular, Sigit Budiarto/Namrih. Namrih coaches Pelatnas Pratama this time.

i will start the wjc conclusion now
it will be more accurate if i were there
    but unfortunately i didnt:(
so i try to be as neutral as i can:p(dont want to drag another famous debate like the one in ajc:p)
i will do it country by country and the malaysian player 1 i will post at mj 09 thread:)

1stly,gonna be the biggest winner, china with 2 gold and one cup(suhandinata cup)
they do well to beat malaysia in team event, well done:)
in this squad, only a few is the champion material(atleast for me)
tian hou wei,xia huan/tang jin hua and bao yi xin
thw is certainly the lindan in making, his stroke is clever, speed is fast, smash is deadly, wang zheng ming surely unable to match him,for me,he is even better than chen long when he is 18:)
didnt need to explain much on the wd trio as traditionally china produce great wd player:)
the rest i will left it to suetyan to commet after she comeback from alor star:)

    INA's Performance

If anyone were to tell me that INA is going to the Final day with 3 representatives, I will definitely be laughing at that prediction, since my own prediction was that INA to win the BD title ONLY. It will be a bonus to have even more Semi-Finalists in the other discipline.

BS were total disasters as nobody managed to progress to the QF. But, that was not unexpected though since these players also performed meekly in the Sirnas events.

As for GS, our girls were outclassed by Chinese and Thai girls. Enough said.

To me, there were POSITIVE SURPRISES in XD and GD especially. Suci Rizki Andini/Tiara Rosalia Nuradaih are still only 16 yo this year. Yet, they managed to topple the second-seed Bao Yixin/Luo Yu in the the GD QF, which was totally unacceptable if I were Team CHN's coaches. With the experience gained this year, Suci/Tiara will hopefully gather more experiences playing in Sirnas and probably IS & IC events.

Angga Pratama/Della Destiara Haris also progressed all the way and beat the top-seed Lu Kai/Bao Yixin along the way. A Silver in XD is definitely a satisfying result.

The only regrets were BD. Both our BD pairs lost to the eventual Champion: Chooi Kah Ming/Ow Yao Han. Yohanes Rendy Sugiarto/Angga Pratama lost due to overconfidence perhaps and inability to switch tactics when the MAS pair was on fire mid-way throughout the second-set. Fatigue could also set in as Angga Pratama played a total of 11 matches in the past 5 days!

As for Mohd Ulinnuha/Berry Angriawan, they showed that their match experiences this year were valuable as they beat the 2nd-seed from China and the 3/4th seed from Thailand. Today, it was a 50-50 match with tight-scores at from the beginning of the first & third set. They very nearly won the BD title, only to falter right at the end. I would say I was satisfied with their performance. I hope this defeat will serve as a lesson not to take 4 match pts for granted in the future

So, the results were not that bad, especially in ALL the Doubles disciplines. But, the team fell short of achieving the 1 title expected of them in BD

    2nd will be thailand
    the 3rd seed next year
thailand did well in team event to beat the weakened tpe

    many quality player here
    yes,more than china
jongjit is the future hope for thailand in double department
so does phuangphuapet and tin d.c
pisit is surely the next tanongsak in making
hopefully thailand coach and find his maximum potential:)
the girl department is more terro than the boy:p
eventhough both porntip and rodjana already 18
but still have sapsiree and ratchanok
thailand done well as the 2nd best performer in wjc
they will also be the semis final contender in next year ajc and wjc team event:)

    now
for ina,3 silver in individual and 5th in team event
yes, they have 2 arguably strongest bd pair in the world(copy from krisna)
and only 1 milli meter short to win the bd title:(
single department can be ignored as the best u19 ms and posiblely ws is not in the squad.
the biggest surprise surely come from wd!
ayu/destiara almost beat mas strongest wd
and the 16 years old pair reached final!
beside the finalist in wd,destiara is surely another doubleplayer to watch, how old is she?sandy?badmania?

now,the country that have many quality player i already mention(japan i will say in personal performance part:)),now we go to personal performance part

    we start from ms
    nikolaj persson
i think he can acheive greater result than his brother, anyone know how old is him?
he did well to beat a chinese ms player(who always consider hard to beat)
and almost steal a set from ramdam:)

lee chun hei perform below expectated i can say,but yang chih hsun is not a weak player(one of my friend in facebook friendlist but didnt have much chat)
not sure that if lee chun hei is really only 15 years old(as stated in his facebook)?anyone can comfirm?

the 2nd seed in ajc did badly in wjc as he lost to philipines player:)

after a worst performance in team event, watanabe manage to enter ms semi final, but then unable to beat the eventual winner, how old is him?
perharps another kenichi tago(one of my japan ms fave and now watanabe is the 2nd:p)

i think emil is a quite good player

sai praneet have good potential to be a better player, have the height and power, but skill wise, gurusaidut is better

hsu jen hao definaitely deserve to be in ms quater final(ajc) and ms semi final(wjc) he is a pretty tough opponent to whoever he meet in u19,but too bad we wont see him next year:(

I guess Della paired with Gebby next year WJC.

    next
    ws
chen xiao jia is quite good
defeated a few good player but still lost to the runner up
as i said before, she is not a champion material and i dont think she can survive in china ws squad(how u think?suetyan)

sayaka takahashi is a skillful player but this time she lost to a more matured sonia that she beat in ajc

natalia perminova will be russia spurhead in ws in future, she should be better if she can train outside russia

mitani minatsu also didnt perform well in team event,at individual event, she also lost to the runner up,i believe she is younger than sayaka takahashi but too bad we didnt have japan junior expert here to comfirm:(

poon lok yan is a better player now compare to ajc time, she able to beat sikki and thng ting ting quite comfortly:)

as the last year of her junior,i believe porntip had played her best wjc here

sapsiree will be thailand number 2 u19 ws next year(surely the number one will be RATCHANOK:))

i believe chen jia yuan is imported player right uncle loh?
but she is not at the same level as xing ai ying, zhang bei wen them
