You obviously don't understand America. I don't watch T.V. and have been out of the sports for over 10+ years, other than watching some American Football on occasion. Believe it or not, most of the Badminton people I know are not focused on tennis either. I never hear anyone talking about tennis on the Badminton courts. Different culture, different perspectives, different...lots of things.
I haven't watched any tennis since middle school, with the exception of sneaking some looks at Maria Sharapova at times.
