Hmm...Kendrick is struggling against Bjorn Joppien in the deciding rubber. He trails 13-15 in yet another tight game.

Kendrik trailing 18-15... he might be the casualty here.

It was deuce between Kendrick Lee and Bjorn Joppien at 20-20. Exciting stuff...Kendrick managed to level the score when Joppien was at match point.

Ultimately, Kendrick lost 20-22 in the exciting rubber game. Bjorn Joppien will now meet Lee Chong Wei in the next round.

Joachim Persson also took the first set 22-20 in his match against the Olympic silver-medallist Shon Sheung Mo.

In the WS match, Fransisca Ratnasari currently leads 11-7 at the interval.

Joachim Persson bt Shon. Even though Persson is the seeded player, it is still a minor upset in my books because Shon had shown good results recently. Joppien beating Kendrick is also a minor upset in my books.

It was an unconvincing victory from Fransisca Ratnasari as she only managed to beat her relatively unknown opponent 21-18, 21-17. She needs to play better if she is to have any chance of beating either Wong Mew Choo or Chien Yu-Chin in the next round.

It's close as expected between Songpol Anukritayawan/Kunchala Vorawichitchaikul and Koo Kien Keat/Wong Pei Tty. The first set just ended with the Thai no 2 pair taking it at 23-21.

KBH hasnt started playing yet. KBH match will be at 4:40pm according to schedule. Currently they are playing 1pm matches.
KBH should not have problem winning because I have seen his opponent play in the recently concluded Aussie Open. Stuart lost to an unknown Indo club player. Unless KBH plays below expectation, i do not see him losing this match. Well, KBH did complain about not getting used to his new coach's training and playing style tho. Hopefully, he is able to play true to his ability.
