ok. so these are definite numbers. Rena is 19, as she is born Aug 15, 1991. Iris is 15 (!!), as she is born Sept 2, 1994. (she will be 16 next week) it's incredible that these two young ladies gets to represent their country in the world championship as such young age. (Rena bday comes from her FB, Iris told me hers via message)
2010 BWF WC: Qualified younger players should be welcomed to participate . It's great find them participating. If they could qualify and be able to attend, BWF should welcome them with open arms. This question is directed to BWF: Why should a tournament be restricted to older players, when our younger players are qualified (as required by their BWF rankings)? .
hmm, if she is 20 years old in 2010, means the badzine database is correct that she was borne in 1990.

Misbun said in press interview that it's hot & dry in Paris, unlike hot & humid(as in wet) like Msia. Msia reporters who are there also say so, I'll take their word for it. You can ask our Thom_bad or abedeng though.
..Thom_bad mentioned, in one of the threads, it was hot & humid..maybe it's hot & humid inside the stadium but hot & dry outside.. see post #121: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...Aug-23-2010)&p=1502871&highlight=#post1502871
