    My first post = 0

I praise all the brave female souls who actually replied to this thread, because most of the people who replied were dudes, but that makes sense because girls already know all that there is to know about this topic while most guys ponder aimlessly about it :p.

Anyway, I agree with Cheung on the fact that there is a huge variation of how menstruation affects a woman's play. I'd say that most girls are affected by it, even if only slightly. During the middle days of their menstruation, girls probably feel the most pain, so that's probably when they play their worst, or maybe even not at all.

I'm also surprised that this topic hasn't been discussed before on BC. Perhaps IndoAmerican was the only one with enough courage to bring it up :D.

It's ok, BF is big enough to accomdates lots of cool people:)
Besides, the term 'cooler' has many meanings.
In a thread somewhere in BF, I have explained myself of how i had selected the handle 'cooler'. It was a carried over from an overclocking forum that I was in before joining BF.:D (sorry for hijacking your intro thread COOLEST)

Welcome, Coolest, too bad cooler came 1st, you had to take another nick.

Coolest, shouldnt it be 1st two days, not 'middle days'?. The heavy flow is on those days, which is the most painful. Though some ppl suffer throughout, 1st day or 1st & 2 nd day of menstrutration is the worst.

Which is why guys have so much energy to run around on court but it takes them longer to learn the subtleties of tactical play.:p

hahaha....i wonder why indoamerican wants to know.

i dont have any problem with it thank goodness. i know women who experience pain and that will surely affect their play. most probably they wont play at all during this painful period.

i dont experience pain but energy wise, i do feel a bit down.

did the info here help you in any way indoamerican? :D

Facts, mah. A lot of guys also know about all this, just dare not comment.

If it's ok to medium pain, it's mind over matter. When one's focus is into sthing, will forget the pain. Drinking less coffee & tea, or iced water helps.
And EPO or whatever new stuff they have nowadays, to elevate symptoms of PMS. Still mind over matter, after some time, will know how to deal with it.

If the pain's really bad (cant get up from bed) and started from her teens, I dont think the gal would venture into sports.

Cheung maybe confirm this but those active in sports/outdoor activities have less painful periods, routine exercise is supposed to good. Among the ladies I've met, the ones active in exercising experience less pain.

And males are supposed have more energy cos of testestrone hormone, he he (spelt it wrong me thinks).

    Hehe,

I used to have a mixed partner who'd actually tell me "I'm on my period, so you have to cover for me if I play worse than usual"

    .... too much information!
