Nice....INA beat TPE 3-1 and progress to the SF of the Team Event for the first-time in recent years, despite having a limited team. So, the effort to send the players to Mexico paid off after all.

As expected, TPE won the GS through Tai Tzu Ying. Riyanto Subagja beat Hsieh Feng-Tse 21-18, 13-21, 23-21 and he had to save 1 match pt  Jones Ralfy Jansen/Nurbeta Kwanrico also beat Hsieh Ping-Hsuan/Chiang Mei-Hui 21-13, 18-21, 21-13; while Nurbeta Kwanrico/Aulia Putri beat Wu Yu-Lun/Lee Fang-Yu 22-20, 21-19. At the end, Jones/Dandy did not have to play.

DEN vs IND went all the way to the wire as DEN's GD won the third-set 23-21, despite having saved 2 match pts at 19-20 and 20-21  Tough luck for IND. Their BD (Pranav Chopra/Sai Praneet B.) also lost the BD despite leading for most of the third-set.

THA vs KOR is the match to be watched right now.

THA has a chance to beat KOR through their XD, GS, and BS.

Ratchanok, Pisit, and Sapsiree will play 2 matches.

MAS and KOR take the first point. They should face each other in the SF.

    KOR 1 THA 1

BD is being played in the KOR vs THA tie; while BS is being played in MAS vs DEN tie.

Loh WS lost to Denmark's Viktor Axelsen. Score : 17-21; 12-21

    A rather tame loss.

    Malaysia 2 Denmark 1

I think Malaysia has to rely on their BD now...I don't think their WD can make it.

Loh Wei Sheng conceded a pt to DEN as Viktor Axelsen (arguably Europe's best BS prospect) beat him in straight-sets.

Meanwhile, KOR just made it 2-1.
