For China players not able to go Taiwan, the issue is not about the race but the Nationality. Go read a little about the conflict between China and Taiwan and you will understand. Chinese from other nationality will have not much of a problem getting to China or Taiwan. Once again, the nationality and not the race.
Regardless of admitting it or not, the best players in the world are almost Chinese. They are Chinese in mainland China, HK, MC, TW, or overseas Chinese in MS, IND, if you know their ancester immigrated from CN many years ago. They do have Chinese names, sometimes with Cantonese format, sometimes with other provincial format.
