Good to see that 99.99% of badminton central members still have the same amount of World Championship titles as LCW! :p

I tell you what, if LCW bought a graveyard, people would stop dying. Never seen any player with worse luck than him.

LCW never learnt from his mistake. He could have won it in straight sets. He gave up too easily in the second set which lead to his muscle cramp in the 3rd set when he is trying to speed up his game. Unless he was already felt that his leg was going to cramp after the 1st set. I could see Lin Dan wasn't playing his best yesterday. LCW had missed his best chance to redeem his pride by beating Lin Dan in this prestigious tournament.

some things didn't change ....and will never change.

Ld will be at the Top...Lcw will always lose to Ld...

AND ------( lazy to dig out the news ).....

Malaysia will always find fault in other issues that 'caused' them to lose --- air - cond switched off...( LCW is already trailing,if he is leading,well...................................)

unlike athletes from other countries who will congratulate their opponents and take their weakness for losing,well.....we continue to blame other things/issues.

until the day when ALL Malaysian Sports person changes their mindset, guess they will still be stuck in the 2nd tier...forever...

If AC is the only complaint, then it is a lame excuse.

Let's look at what happened in sequence:

    (a) LD played against CL in the afternoon the day before in the semi-final.
    (b) LCW played against DuPY at 11pm the night before in the semi-final.
    (c) Someone turned off the Air Con during a crucial moment, knowing all of the above.
    (d) LCW had to retire because of exhaustion and was carried off court by a stretcher.

Does anyone seriously think this state of affair is a coincident?

We need more conspiracy theorists to investigate this matter based on the China officials possibly applying tactics to subdue the mighty LCW through Sun Tzu's Art of War inhumane tactics.

LD play CL in QF not in semi. LD play NTM in semi. Still easy contestant to him. Walkover from Tago also added advantage. LD no real challenge until final.

yes, u are right. LD play CL in QF, not semi.

Tago retired against Eric Pang in the first round.

My guess is what LCW has to play in all SS games while LD may took part only in 2-3 tournaments this year. Naturally he can be preapared for the main game much better. And he really chose the best tacktic aginst LCW and implemented it 101% clear.
So the claims about bad fitness of LCW is totally unfair. Although personally I'm a LD fan - he is a great player! LCW is simply #1 now :)
