Now it's too early to say who's hot and who's not, but the undisputed "grand slam candidate" Denmark open has finished. Congratulations to Simon S and Tine R.

It's good to see Simon got his first super series title, but look at how he won the title, it's a big surprise. Simon won the Denmark open by just beating all unknowns:

    Sho Sasaki
    Aravind Bhat
    Gurusaidutt R. M. V.
    Jan O. Jorgensen
    Marc Zwiebler

based on this analysis, I certainly do not think Simon hot. I would like to say: Simon is the luckiest super series winner.

The in process Frech open proved it again: all the semi-finalists (MS) of Denmark open have been defeated easily and convincely by different players at the early round of FO. Simon was defeated by Joachim P 15:21, 12:21.

It's too early to say who's hot, but it's the time to say who's not.

it was a perfect chance for Sony K stealing the DO, but he surrendered to Marc Z. now at FO, he lost again to BCL 14,12.

Sony should go shopping now, to consoliate himself for this disappointed trip of Europe.

Another worth to mention is Wong Choong Hann. He was even the #4 seed at Denmark open, but he lost at 1st round at both DO and FO.

On the women's side, Olga Konon is surely turned on. She can play singles, she can play doubles, she can play doubles with man, she can also play doubles with woman. and most important, she can win, even win against Wang SX (please note WSX just won the title of China master and the silver from China national games).

    So here is the list:

    Who's hot:
    1) Olga Konon

    Who's not:
    1) Sony Kuncoro
    2) Wong Choong Hann
