With the defeat of WYH, China is now not assured of the WS title. Their remaining challengers are suspect when playing with top quality opposition.

Should we take a friendly bet, Uncle Loh? A simple beer will suffice. I will collect it during the TC/UC next May in MAS. ;):p

It will be close but I think XXF will step up as the leader of the CHN WS gang and show the way. In fact I am predicting she will be the only survivor as LL and WL will fall by the wayside.

    The hope is..

..dashed...All the hype talk abt ZM knowing CHN squad's secrets & her motivation to win her last major title have gone up in smoke..
Only remaining hope for Loh to be jumping for joy now is the possible LD vs. LCW match..and eventual LCW defeat..;)

The one with the 2nd highest votes = Tine & 4th highest votes = ZM has lost. XXF, the 2nd highest votes, remains.

    So, Wang Lin..

..has exorcised her last lost to Saina by winning in Saina's homeground in straight games...
It's either Saina had too much pressure playing in front of her home crowd or Wang Lin simply outplayed her..or both..

I don't think you borrowed the crystal ball, otherwise you would not have been in the right direction so far. Your choice beat mine, two old guards trained under the old system.

If XXF should win the WS, you will definitely have a beer on me and I will try my very best to meet up next May in KL? (I was hoping it could be held in Cat city so that we can visit the cat and kitten and sample their "kucing" hospitality! :D

LL seems to be the young one to watch out for, at least suetyan has revealed recently and judging by the way she wallops veteran Wang Chen, we better give her some deserved respect.

Now only left 3rd highest vote (XXF) vs Lu Lan (errr, the one with 4 votes). Let's see who will win the title

The last Lu Lan won a gold was 2 years ago which was Denmark Open 2007. She has never won a gold after that. So, it should be 50-50. Lu Lan views this as her first gold after 2 years whereas XXF views this as her last gold for WC. :D But I still go for XXF as she is not young. LL still can play for many years, but not XXF. :(

I hope LL wins. XXF had her time in the sun and now it's the turn of her youunger team mates.

It depends on what LD vs CJ results,
If LD won, maybe it will boost XXF spirits and motivations :p
And they will repeat what they achieve together, back in 2oo6

LL's time is now. She is no longer a youngster compared to all these spring chickens popping up everywhere. She has been a loyal servant to CHN and does her job with little fuss. Perhaps it's her time tonight; only LYB knows.

However if XXF wins, it'd be a fitting end to her brilliant career. I really hope the fairy tale ending materializes. Firstly my prediction would have come true. Secondly, the anticipation of that beer will never be sweeter, haha :D:D
