Look at it in a positive way; Now that he didn't win this title, we get to watch him play again in 2 years' time.

BAM v/s the pride of China and the Chinese Army? The result is a foregone conclusion! :D:D:D
Besides, if they spend it all on LD, who's going to sponsor all those foreign trips?

Just wondering how it is the best way for them to spend the $mil. :):):)

If it's not going to Badminton, then Badminton will remain stagnant (no advancement). :(:(:(

Looks like MEGATRON won the battle on Sunday night....

If only PRIME had TRANSFORMED at the right time(match point), all this wouldn't have happened....:crying:

STARSCREAM(Chen Jin) had a helping hand in PRIME's defeat though(semis)...:p

LCW never show fear of losses

LCW is much stable in performance than LD in all the tournaments. Last time, when 1st or 2nd place is not much different in Cs$h to LD's (both are Chinese players), he is likely not playing the match. I was lucky to saw one of his loss in Hong Kong to a nobody in the East Asian Game.

    I like LCW personality ....

LD's win was more natural and reasonable

I'm not LD's fan or LCW's fan. I'm neither of that. My feeling, as a neutral audience, tells myself that: LD's win was more natural and reasonable base on

    1) LD's total score was 64 while LCW 57. I know win or loss not depend on the total score, but if the final winner lost in total scoring, it sounds not legitimate enough. Like G W Bush won the election but lost the popularity

    2) If LCW had won, he won 2 sets by additional overtime points. That didn't sound strong. While LD took the 2nd set 21:14, which made LD's a convincing win.

    3) In the whole match overall, LD was more aggressive and with more smashes and clear winners. Active agrgressive win is always better than passive win.

Some people believed that LD was not as fit as LCW; and therefore thought that when it came to Game 3, LCW would have the advantage. Fortunately, LD was as fit as (if not fitter than) LCW.

Yes, 81-minutes of match-time should be a struggle for many players, especially for Singles. :):):)

LCW become more aggressive in set 2 and 3, i wonder if it's because of the coach's suggestion or he himself know that a passive-placement style will never work against LD..

Yes, the aggressor for those with 'same standard' should win it. Totally agree with this.

When china was poor during before the 90s, perhaps there is a chance of buying them out. They were wearing 'dragon fly' shoes during those days. ;)

However, now they aren't that "poor" anymore, such buy out will be getting tougher and requiring a much bigger amount :D and surely the clock is ticking on...

a new history is under making.....:p
