not sure if LCW as dropped at all! his mental strength is at an all time high, and his defence and all round game has never been more solid and assured IMO

LD, on the other hand, is definitely a step slow. He probably isn't training that hard, which is probably because the drive is no longer there. Let's face it, like Federer, he's done it all - the most celebrated MS player of all time and if he retired tomorrow will probably go down as the GOAT.

The two favourites are in the final. 50-50 me thinks. LCW has to not lose focus for even a second and play the game of his life to become Malaysia's first world champion, while trying to return LD's super-angled smashes. I dare say that LD and LCW has not dropped at all since 2008 and they are still by FAR the best two MS players in the whole world. Good luck LCW!

should be interesting match between two rivals, i think lcw had the strong mentality to overcome him today in final ......

he should play fast and attacking game then he can repeat what he have done to defeat him in all england championships recently, keep going lcw and we all proud of you to be first malaysian winning bwf world championships title ........

    cheers.

As for me, I wish that LCW can win this title.

Why? Simply because LCW hasn't won a world championship title before. ;););)

I am a Chinese, but I feel so sorry for LCW. LCW deserves lot of more world titles. I like LCW's personanlity as well.

That said, LD is the GOAT, no doubt in my mind.

It was such a remarkable match. Both players deserved to win. It is pity that we have to wait so long for such a match and hopefully we can see more matches between LCW and LD before the Olympic next year.

And the winner is LIN DAN OF CHINA. To me, yesterday's match is endless.. Both players are the winners.. But badminton should only have 1 winner in a match. CONGRATS to LIN DAN.

Anyone else doesn't believe in the BC Poll jinx??..:eek::p;)

    * Is limsy gonna follow thru with his 100 satay sticks bet?..
** LCW had arguably one of the easiest paths, all the way to the Semis, and even then disposed of CJ quite easily. He really blew it in the Final after having 2 chances at match pt...

The good news is that LCW said that he would try again in 2013 (and cancel his plan to retire). This really shows that he is determined to win this title. :):):)
