The beauty of thomas cup is that there is the element of uncetainty. In theory, Korea can upset chinese team by getting two double points and steal one point from men singles. However, it is very difficult. This chinese team is very solid and had exeprience in big events. People tend to think chinese second men double is not good enough. However if we read the history of thomas cup, they did pretty well over the last two thomas cups. They may not be as solid as their team mates in term of getting points but they are good enough to beat any opponents from the other teams. If both teams play at their current standard, the score is likely 4:1 to China. I must say Korea need to play better than normal to get two double points and needs a miracle to get one point from men singles.

If JJS is not in the team, I wonder if they can make it to the final. They may not get pass Denmark or INA. If they meet the chinese team in semifinal, it is likely 3:0.

    What else is new...?

..Congrats to CHINA for literally sweeping the whole tournament (both boys & girls teams went undefeated)...

And in 2 yrs, I guess neither the TC & UC won't be up for grabs as LD is planning to come back again to defend the TC in 2014 (as heard in his interview)..??
