SHB 90 is broader than the SHB 92.
In other words, SHB 90 is more comfotable than SHB 92!

Haven't tried SHB90, but I've a pair of SHB92. I agree that SHB92 is not too comfortable for people with wide foot. Other than this, it is a pair of good shoes. I recommend to wear a thicker socks with SHB92, e.g. Yonex 3D xxx (just don't know the exact model). This combination works quite well.

You guys should try Mizuno, it makes wonderful shoes too!

I recently bought a pair and it is absolutely just great! About the same weight as the SHB 90 and has a medium width toe area. Nice grip and excellent support for the ankle as well as the forefoot area. There's none of the 'burning' sensation on your forefoot from pro-longed playing. Neither does my ankle feel sore anymore after I attempt a lot of jump smashes in a succession of games.

I've two pair of Mizuno badminton shoes as well - LBR and Wave Smash Ti (please see my comment in the review section). They are definitely great (especially the Wave Smash Ti). However I do hope Wave series shoes cost less and lighter - the perfect shoes I can imagine is something as light as LBR, but having the same cushioning and comfort and Wave Smash Ti, and of course, costs just around the same as LBR (which is only 1/3 of the cost for my Wave Smash Ti) ! :)
