Main strings near the top of the frame.

I've always broken main strings, never cross.

If your strings, especially the middle ones, tend to move, or if you can see signs of wear in your strings, it is probably due to low string tension. If you string at high tension, the strings will not move at all except minimally after a sharp sliced smash, and signs of wear are not visible except when you move the string with your finger, with more than normal force, to reveal any hidden wear.

Its true, i have never broken the cross strings either, maybe i can stry trying using 68ti as cross and bg80 as main. Should get me more bounce without loosing too much durability =D wha u guys think?

Never broke a string yet. I usually replace em' the moment I notice lower performance.

i was looking at my strings on my ti-10 the other day and i noticed that near the sweet spot area that the strings are starting to wear out :p the main seems to be "digging into" the cross, so it looks likie the cross is going to snap soon...that's a natural thing right? or should i just cut them? i got them strung @ 23 with BG65 and it's still pretty tight @ around 21-22~ish

If you smash a lot, it will break in 1 or 2 game anyway. If you are a defence player, cut it because the string has lost it's tension already...

Broke a cross string for the first time:confused:. It's in the sweet spot area. Other than that, it's always either a main near the frame (majority of the time) or in the center area (more recently).

i use my strings to destruction... they normally break at the mains, approximately the upper corner (approx 11 or 1 o'clock, depends on how u flip the racket when u look at it) of the sweet spot.

I always use bg65 @ 22lbs. I know when its about to break because at that point, the weakest point is pretty obvious... its that spot where a main and cross string have rubbed into each other, making one (usually the main) so thin and worn out. :D

    I play 2x a week/ 2hrs per session. I replace strings maybe 2-3x/yr.

So far, I have broken 4 strings and everyone of them broke just slightly above the center and it is always the main string that breaks. My racquets were strung at 22 main and 24 cross.

i break strings when i lob the ball high up(long rally).. i guess by doing so , the strings gets moved and the friction between horizontal and vertical strings makes them snap.
    strings always ti68 @26lbs.

oh yea, and does haveing 2 different tension gives a better feel? whats the difference ?
i was adviced by a friend to string my rac's at 28/30

Normally my string break after a hitting the shuttle hard on the frame or after do a lob/smash
Normal near the central with main string breaking.
I string my racquets at 25lbs
You can tell the string is breaking when there are a tear mark appear

are anyone as sad as me and put black insulating tape around the head of their rackets just to stop strings breaking from scooping the shuttle off the ground?
