Hi, I like to use BG80 specifically at a range of 25-26.5lbs of settled tension To get to this mark, I ask my stringer for 4 knot, 28lbs main & 29lbs cross, and after 3 days it settles at around 27lbs. Problem is, the first 3 hours of hitting feels a bit too high, but from hour 4 to 18 it feels amazing because that's when the tension is at the 25 to 26.5 lb mark. I'm hoping for an advice from those with pre-stretching experience, what percentage of pre-stretch and which main/cross tensions should I string BG80 so it lasts a big longer in that sweet spot of 25-26.5lbs. FYI the stringer has a top of the line Yonex machine and he does great 4-knots with minimum slippage. Also, I'd be curious to know if pre-stretching BG80 would even have the longevity benefit I'm looking for, because if the benefits are very minimal I'm probably not even going to bother with it. Thanks!
