Wow. That specs is professional standard. I think Lee Chong Wei/Markis Kido used that kind of tension and 3U weight. I just got my AT900P 3UG5 strung with BG66 @26lbs today. Used it today to test out. So far, the smash is excellent, but arms/wrist/fingers gets sore very fast. Maybe I use it for 1 week to 1 month to see if I get used to it.
Absolutely agree on rank 3. The AT900P is very tiring to use, especially the 3U version, should have gotten the 4U version. I think 3U and 4U have no difference in terms of smashing power. NS9000X 3U much friendlier on the muscles yet giving the same smashing ability. Regret I gave up on Arc 10, never try to get used to it. For me extra stiffness & headlight is better than stiff and head heavy. head heavy = arm soreness head light = arm friendly
uhmm.. Lee chong wei plays single... he may only use high tension. i am definetely no where close to that though =p. I can only use this setup when partnering with sm1 who can cover the front well because my recovery for continuous smash slightly slower otherwise i use only 4 grams extra. and from what i heard lin dan use 33-34lbs?
As what i have read,30-32lbs?Anyway,not as hard as the tomboys Dujing,Yuyang and also He hanbin though..34-36lbs.
The hardest smashing racket I've used is my Ti-10. I've added a considerable amount of lead to make the racket very head heavy and I usually have it strung between 28 and 32 lbs. It isn't a great defensive racket, but when I want to smash someone through the floor, the Ti-10 is always the racket I reach for.
i think ive posted it before but couldn't find it... anyway if any1 after good powe.. rsl makes good training racket caller trainer 120g up to 160g. and i think la fleche has up to 170g. if u can swing one of these baby as fast as other players they would seriously think 10x lifting to u.
1. YY Boron 2 2U 2. YY AT700 1st gen 3U 3. YY TI10 1st gen 3U I think if I change the strings on my Cab30MS to a more repulsive one, this would have the 2nd or 3rd rating. Power just isn't everything in playing badminton.
NS9000X. oh wait, hardest? yeah its the NS900X or NS9000X or NS9000X period. not only hard, but steep too,
i heard that if you're able to hit the shuttle with the sweet spot of the racket everytime, you're better off with a conventional head shape racket and would be able to hit harder. i hit the hardest with my aerotus44, 2u/g4 with bg65, but now i have nbg95.
Any update on this? Would the RSL X2 Gold be on top or Victor's Powerwaves 31 2u Edition (from Asia) be the one? How about the Panda's new line of rackets? Winnex Woven 1000 (can the 2U version really take 40 lbs?? Comments please.
