Gatorade during play, and juice (water or fruit juice) during rest.

Depends on the situation. Hot day or sweat a lot, I'll drink mineral or just plain water. If I am tired and don't feel charged, any energy drink will do.

I'm a really enthusiastic chemist who plays badminton. Studies show that chocolate milk contain more enzymes in 250mL package of 2% chocolate milk than any other drinks (gatorade, mineral water, 100 plus) although a lil vitamin C may even add to that. The only problem is it gets chunky when vitamin C is added to chocolate milk. So i say go for the chocolate milk guys.

If you weight yourself before you play and after you play and the difference isn't more than 1-2kg then you are drink enough. Should the difference between weight be more than you should be drinking more.

I believe I see some of the pros drinking Vitamin Water. (Yes, like that badminton commercial they had haha) I, myself, generally drink Gatorade or water. Gatorade slows me down at times because it makes me like wanna burp so like I hafta stop play/slow down play for a while and let it out.

Same here water and gatorade. I used to drink purely gatorade, however a doctor friend of mind told me it is bad. I should do a combination of the two. He mentioned something about to much electrolyte is bad for you.

Does nobody here drink Lucozade?? Or maybe it's too British.
That Lucozade Sport stuff, really works well. I also carry a bottle of mineral water with me though.

Depends on how much money you want to spend.... Without going into too much detail (cos it changes quite a bit depending on time and how I feel).

During exercise, good ole fashioned water is sufficient. After protein shake definately.
