Agree, ZYL 's a fantastic player. But when playing against teammates, there's little mental exhaustion since she knows their game. Her SF XD opponents are not the same level. Fatigue caught up with her when she had to be sharp against her tougher KOR opponents in the XD finals. However, doubles is only half the load of singles so the effect may not be so crucial.
What I find funny is CHN WS are already so strong and consistent why would they need an obvious scheduling advantage. What chance is there to have perhaps only 6 hours sleep and face a fresher, stronger CHN WS?

ZYL played a total of 8 matches (WD & XD events). Her XD Final's lady opponent, LHJ played only 5 matches (XD exclusively).

i'm just pointing out that it's equally unfair to have chinese players in a 'bad' position...but both what is bad and what is fair are personal opinions, and both differ from person to person...and unless it happens 100% of the time to everyone not from china, it is speculating and almost slanderous to mention something perpetuating more negative things to their reputation no?...not just perceived to have happen 100% of the time by comparison...i'm just saying =] my idea of fair...someone will get the bad position...scheduling conflicts have to happen...too bad it had to be her....

You simply cannot have a *absolute fair* schedule in such a game. :D
