    there is one caveat.

    If you or your parents came from the Mainland China and lived through and witnessed the Japanese rule in the Mainland (eg, Nanjing in 1937), you would not have a favourable view of the Japanese.

    Otherwise, the Taiwanese likes the Japanese.
