Agreed. Korea won the first set. I guess they will also win the second set but they are really inconsistent.

My guess for how the draw turns out:

CHN-DEN
INA-KOR
MAS-TPE
JPN-GER

As I said it is only my guess:)

kelana I agree, good points. Use technology and minimize human error. Clarity needed on service faults.
In tournaments there are no freebies. India gifted Korea a gift with Kashyap. For India's WD to have any chance it was through score board pressure of being 2-1 up. India WD were up against a superior pair and scoreboard pressure. You learn important lessons in losses. India can go home and dream of what could have been. Indian singles will be formidable by 2018. Their doubles teams will show improvements but will still have a long way to go.

In the Singapore SS finals a similar umpire error happened. Hu Yun should have been a point ahead of Momota K. This is not the first time it has happened and I don't expect it to be the last. BWF has to use technology.

It was foolish to put SK against LCW and then PK against SWH. It should have been the opposite!

people make mistakes, girish natu is an experienced and fair umpire (i have seen him umpired many matches). he made a mistake. BWF should have taken extra precautions to ensure things like that do not happen.

I somehow thought that IND team [of coaches, officials] lack of acumen in establishing their line-up strategy, which is quite crucial in the team tournament, and Sudirman Cup allows great flexibility for individual rank doesn't matter!

kelana, Right again! If they wanted experience and Srikanth wasn't upto it mentally, then Ajay Jayaram should have been picked ahead of Kashyap.

Yes indeed. He is very experienced and technically sound. Today is not his day. That's all.

In this tournament, we have seen so many service faults from almost all the umpires which are not at all correct when we saw it on the replays. Does this mean, we need to shut down the umpires from rest of the tournament or ban him for life? . Then we can't have any umpire in this tournament.
