Heartwarming. At first I thought Lee Hannan was some movie or pop star from HK, Korea, Taiwan, and , to be frank, I don't think too highly of them, and might be a little worried for Wang Xin.
Wang Yihan's ability to read her opponent's game is no good. In the past, she used to be able to control the rallies more often than not; nowadays she has to run all over the place, usually.
Btw, I read that Wang Lin is assigned a reporter's role here at the Sudirman Cup, for CCTV, if I'm not wrong. She'd be conducting interviews as well. I don't think she's thinking about marriage despite seeing Wang Xin being proposed to. For all we know, Wang Lin is spoilt for choice with several suitors.
Correction, GC and Steen, Chen Long's first victory over Lin Dan was at the All England, the Malaysia Open was his second.
Is it me or is Court 1's court mat has serious issues? Yoo slipped, Srikanth, the french XD, and now Boonsak just to name a few. Chen Long's dive also showed that his racket foot (right) continued sliding after the dive. Most slips happened on the upper side of the court from the camera.
Justin L What are the crowd shouting? They are oscillating between Chen Long Jiayou Chen Long JIayou to something else Jia you.
Is it me or something usual , recently I have noticed a decline in shuttle change frequency . Earlier matches Mens singles would require atleast 1 shuttle every 2-3 points and now a days from the past 6-7 months I have noticed it to be 6-7 sometime 8 points . Doubles I am seeing a trend of using only 3-4 shuttles as compared to 7-8 earlier in a set .
I have the highest respect for Boonsak Ponsana, an excellent player. At his age 33, he's still a force to be reckoned with.
