A surprising and outstanding outcome by MAS team who top group 1D, it's must win situation for KOR and IND to secure runner-up position. High pressure is on for the fave KOR team, if they lost to IND it will be their worst result in Sudirman Cup history.

LIVE TV (Court 1) matches :
    Group 2B : HKG v FRA (01.00pm)
    Group 1A : CHN v THA (07.00pm)

    Court 2 :
    Group 2A : NED v ESP (01.00pm)
    Group 1B : JPN v TPE (07.00pm)

It's a mammoth task for THA team to overcome mighty Chinese but it still interesting to watch whether nothing to lose Thai players would steal point from CHN. The line-up has not out yet, it's possible CHN may field Wang Yihan who has healthy head to head against Thai prodigy Intanon. GER team repeats their successful two years ago to clinch quarterfinal spot after defeated Thailand 3-2 yesterday, Marc Zwiebler is the key factor for his team victory.

Different condition for the other tie in group 1 as JPN and TPE will eye top position in group 1B, these two teams are already march to last eight. Both teams have equal chance in MS, WS and MD while JPN is favoured to seal point through WD and XD.

In group 2A, reigning World Champion Carolina Marin will play double discipline twice, XD and WD against The Netherlands, it's exciting to see her action.

    Wonderful summary as always CLELY.

KOR team obviously has their back against the wall, I think it will be 3-2 as IND doubles is really not good enough to beat KOR doubles, but if Korea lets the pressure get to them, we could be in for some fun :D

It's rather strange to witness how the seeded #2 is on the brink of collapse. A hype of significance.

Korea has only MD as a strong suit . Should never had been seeded 2 overall.

Nothing is impossible. My only wish is to get one doubles' victory against korea tomorrow.

If Jwala/Aswini pull out a stunning victory, anything is possible.

MD - Even our MD is not ruled out. They win top ranked pairs occasionally.
They had victory over Jpn MD and Chinese top MD pair etc. So, nothing is ruled out. On their day, anything can happen.

MS- Srikanth , if he is not error prone, he will win it.

WS - Saina vs SJH. Should be in Saina's favour.

WD - Jwala/aswini , if jwala plays WD instead of thinking as XD, there is a possibility of winning.

XD - No way. but with ko sung hyun's recent performances, anything can be possible.

One doubles from India has chance against Korea. No idea, which one it is.

LCW in post match interview after his match against K.Srikanth :

“Srikanth is a much different opponent from (Lee) Dong-keun yesterday. He’s dangerous and ranked No. 4 in the world. I actually had to work very hard against him,” said Chong Wei.

“Coaches Morten (Frost) and Hendrawan gave me a lot of advice. It worked because I was able to stop his attacks and picked up his shots. Hopefully I’ll keep on getting better in my next match,” added Chong Wei.

I don't believe we have HKG vs Fra on TV court :p
They should've scheduled JPN vs TPE for morning session and CHN vsTHA for the evening..
Except MS the team Fra seems to be to feable..
It would've been better to broadcast SPN vs The Ned

Same goes for Taiwan (Chinese Taipei) as well. They even go as far as shoes + bags (EX models) for the Taiwan players. Only the racket stays, and without Victor stencils.

Yes we think positive, we can see other level of badminton. Put them to the main court may give them feeling valued and respectable.

HKG pair never lead the 3rd game until saving 3 match points and then reversed it to win the match. the French girl made 3 errors in a row losing the match.

Chau Hoi Wah looks very tired. Lee was jumping around but didn't have much energy attacking at the end either.
