Both of you made good points and observations.
Korea in trouble, Malaysia take game 1: 23-21
Morten may just be blank on those instructions by MAS coach
Malaysian 23-21 for the first game!!
let the upset continue.
Impressed by the game reading of Chan/Goh, at certain points either one of them just ran straight for the net in anticipation of a weak reply.
Looks like the MAS MD opening match victory is morale-boosting to Team Malaysia !
Goh/Chan has unexpectedly taken G1, just barely 23-21 but an encouraging sign, nonetheless, as they are the underdogs.
Goh Liu Ying is quite aggressive in front court, more than KHN
Shouldering responsibility for the entire team and not just playing for yourselves can be very stressful and a test of your nerves and character, particularly in a must-win situation.
Seems to me, Ko/Kim are feeling more of the effect.
I like GLY's playing attitude, quite determined! She's an iron lady indeed.
Absolutely, even the malaysian WD had a real shot in the first game.
WKH was so pumped up, but I think it backfired on her after losing the first game.
Her intensity made her fall apart that much quicker.
XD is turning out to be a massive treat for spectators.
The Malaysian flare of anticipative play style is back in season it seems.
Not only aggressive..
Better awareness, urgency in play and of course she is more clever!!
Being the underdog certain helps
Kim Ha Na crumbling just the Danish butter cookies.
Can anybody tell me how does the order of play is decided..
Is it random or follows a particular trend?
There's no 3rd set. so disappointed.
well, malaysia play so well tonight. They play much better as team. I was definitely underestimate this little team.
So MAS upset KOR 3-2 .To me, LCW's comeback made the difference for Team MAS, even more than the MAS MD win in the opening match.
Congratz to MAS team for making an upset tonight
Just watching the fire inside the MAS pair, what a team spirit... just don't think such thing will exist in more individualized games
Exactly, the underdog 'advantage' cannot be underestimated, esp in a team contest.
Hopefully you didn't lose your money
Right, team championship has a 'logic' of its own different from the individual contests.
You guys are joking, if there's no MD win MAS will trail 2-3 instead every win counts the same weight in the team contest
