And let's not forget Sonoda Keigo! :) He will be pairing up with Kaneko Mahiro (previously Kaneko/Kubota). Actually Sonoda/Kaneko first featured at this year's Ranking Circuit Tournament in Japan and went on to win. At that time, Sonoda vowed that it would be his first and last match with Kaneko, but he obviously changed his mind. I think that this may be a strategy to keep Kaneko 'competitive', but, whatever the case, it is just great to see Sonoda in action.

It is going to be a difficult task, but Naraoka has his sight set on a place in the BWF World Tour Finals; hence, his appearance. Tsuneyama, in contrast, is trying to stem the damage he is due to incur from a large loss of points.

Tsuneyama took part the tournament by Tonami's club money for sure.

Many members from team A here and this is super tour 100.

The Vietnam Open is not listed on the NBA Tournament Plan. Accordingly, all Japanese participants will be self-financed (or sponsored by their corporate employers).

Tsuneyama and Ohori are worried about a drop in their rankings. The Vietnam Open will be seen as an easy point-getter.

Year end loss of ranking points, and no HK Open, no Macau Open, no China Open. Desperate scramble to accumulate ranking points.

Just a livestream from coaches, but I believed there willbe many livestreams tomorrow which would made by youtuber.

Too bad, when Vietnamese athletes called for medical help, the organizers didn't even have an oil spray bottle and one of the coaches had to take from his oil spray bottle to send down to the athletes.

Then I've heard from the livestream: "bring it back to me, please" - from a coach ^-^

That was such a disaster some #$%@@%$$%@#$% umpire corrected line judge call at 18:20 in the third set, where it was very very clear that line judge was right it was quite big out by Goh, after that Pitchamon really lost focus and lost it... but it was so nice to see that she did not do any antics really tried to play further, and yes she is the cutest :D

Tsuneyama was withdrawn, I don't know why.

Can it be an injury ?

hey GJW is cute too ... not the cutest maybe.. but...

but PO!!! seriously 15 years old? she really did play a good game and deserves her accolades.... but i dont know.... i disagree with the other poster.. I think the final decision was correct, (my first impression was..... 'that's in").....

btw ..probably what's going on in GJW's mind throughout the game..... "hey you were me a couple of years ago...."

HK entered four mixed pairs. All four played each other in the first round.
