I'm temporarily putting some videos online for you guys at http://badmintonvideos.mine.nu/ Bandwith may vary from day to day. Enjoy! - Mark. / mark@badmintonsport.nl
speed The speed varies from 2 Mb / sec (when it's really quiet) to 15 kb when it is busy and many people are downloading at the time. Sometimes I have to limit bandwith, please try again later if it is too busy. Cheers, - Mark.
the link seems to be dead for quite sometime now. will it be up and working soon? anywayz, appreciate the effort. did get to d/l few videos.
I'm generating about 20 GB of traffic per day now; when it gets too ridiculous I have to limit the bandwith. When it is too busy, try again a day or a week later, or try to find other mirrors at http://worldbadminton.com/videos/how_to_download_videos.htm By the way, we are still looking for new mirrors!
the link worked last nite and got to d/l most of the videos. Thx a bunch!!! PS: ur personal website was pretty gud, esp the "funny things" section.
I know, it's just too busy sometimes. That's because the site was generating more then 40 Gb yesterday for example. Just try again a day or a week later when it's less busy, or try downloading the files from Kazaa, where some users also are sharing badminton videos (see a different thread about this subject).
kazaa You have to be lucky that someone is sharing a video at that time. Worldbadminton.com has more mirror online now, see http://worldbadminton.com/videos/
thanks Zax, does anyone know which videos have the best picture quality? are they all similar? or does it vary from tournament to tournament? thanks Gregory
Re: kazaa Err... just wondering... is the new addition a ratio site? Seems there's a 1/5 ratio UL/DL. If that's the case, people with no other access to badminton videos are out of luck? I'm talking about: http://www.haroboy.boltblue.com/FTP Badminton.htm
As far as i can tell that site works okay. sometimes i can't get into it but usually if i try back i can. this time of morning is pretty quick G
most the vids on here are the same as the ones on zax' site http://www.haroboy.boltblue.com/FTP Badminton.htm you can't bookmark the FTP directly as i have a dynamic IP address, oh yeah, and when i need my bandwidth for online gaming...i'm sure you can guess what happens bandwidth varies depending on how busy it is. max number of connections per IP = 1 and 5 credits permitted, (so after 5 downloads, you'll need to log off then on again)
nk8, thanks for clarifying. I was confused by this message when I logged in: 226-Using U/D Ratio 1/5. Current credit 5 Files, counting files per session.
Funny thing... i was downloading the mixed doubles final (game 2) from the commonwealth games, and i left my computer for a few hours... but when i came back, the download had disappeared and I looked to find that only a minute of it had been downloaded. does anyone know what happened? maybe something simple like my computer went into sleep mode? thanks, gregory
i would have thought that if you were using an FTp client, it would automatically log on again if something goes wrong.
looks like it does not support resume ... once you've failed ... that's it ... I downloaded 139Mb ... then I got disconnected from the server ... and has to restart from beginning. btw, I uploaded whatever I have to badmintongallery.com at the moment I allow 280G transfer per month ... i am setting up another server with 4Mb yipes bandwidth = 1200-1500Gb which should be ready by end of next month.
