    What does it mean for you that you didn't had a good attack in XD? It sounds like this cursed JS10 took all your skills away...:confused: Maybe a case for Jonathan Frakes?

    When I was testing JS10/4U it was in MD and there the racket was working fine. I felt lack of power from rear part of the court (same as BS10/3U), but everything else was good. I had 3 x 2hrs of MD and I was very close to buy it. Then I went to play XD and had to switch to my old racket, as when I needed to produce more full smashes from rear court, it was just not good as power was not there. So I decided to go for Onigiri, with this one, I have enough power and still very, very fast racket. As ideal combination, I can imagine to have one JS10 for MD where you are under pressure and has to defend a lot and be mostly a front court player. Switching from JS10 to Oni wouldn´t be an issue imo.

    Now this is interesting...

    Had some time with my friend's Onigiri. Wet specs (strings and overgrip) 89.5g total, 40.5g head wt, 305mm bp.

    Amazingly maneuverable and yet powerful for such a light box frame racket that I'd estimate is barely 80g dry.

    Completely effortless from the back court with clears and smashes. Defence quite fast, but smaller frame requires preparation. Drives slightly less accurate than my usual stiffer Gosen Gungnir Alpha.

    But dang, is it ever user friendly! Very easy to activate the shaft. Just enough head wt but not too much to cause any lagginess. So easy to use.

    I may have to get one for myself for those times when I feel lazy and tired.

    @Maklike Tier
    Now I know why you're raving about it...

    I'm permanently lazy and tired, so it's perfect for me :rolleyes:

    Yes it is easy to use. Sure, the shaft is a bit flexy, but it's also very 'elastic' and works with you rather than making the racket feel like poo on the end of a stick.

    FYI my spec is a tad different than your mates' because I've shaved the handle down to G6 and I only use a PU Super replacement grip on wood - 86g, 40g head wt, 313mm bp.

    BTW has anyone seen an orange version in their local shop yet? I'm dying to get one.

    Worked out to be the same price as buying local, even with shipping, which was a surprise.

    With the added issue of the new orange one not being available locally, so......bonus!

    Trying out ZM66 Fire on this one as I haven't used it before. Going to be verrrrrrry orange!

    I was looking at the orange one just out of curiosity. Wasn't really a fan of that shade tbh. I much prefer the orange shade the Gosen Customedge Type X has. The original green however I find more attractive than this new orange.

    I've only played with the 6000 for one game, and that's when it first came out - so I'm not the best person to ask - but I'd say the specs are similar. The designs aren't in any way, though. The Oni doesnt have those silly "Catapult Structure©™®" groves, and has a newer, more dynamic shaft. I think the Oni's head might be smaller too, but I'm not sure if the 6000 has the same head as the 9000.

    There's nothing about the 6000 that would make me want to try it. I was match fit when I tried it and I didn't like it particularly then, so I doubt I'd like it now. YMMV. It's probably most similar to a slightly more modern Voltric 80 I guess? The Onigiri is also Voltric-esque but much more dynamic and 'friendly'.
