Yihan is playing good at short backhand corner
WYH did it again, a trick net return, a little hold and tap.
SJH net court positioning is not good. WYH was taking the shuttle near the bottom, and yet she moved back a bit. Basics lacking there.
Amazing returns from SJH time and again.
I quite concern about LXR foot injury which apparently is a stress fracture which can be difficult to heal. This could explain very well the drop of her form since the injury last year. This could mean that we won't see old LXR anymore..
QUOTE=ssj100;2386602]I think WYH level has improved a bit because LXR level has dropped. I'll never forget her look of disappointment when LXR crushed her dreams at the 2012 Olympics. And that sort of came from nowhere too. At that time, WYH (and WSX) were dominating the WS scene so easily. I seriously think WYH never "forgave" LXR for that defeat she inflicted on her at the Olympics. I suppose it's taken 3 years to recover from that.[/QUOTE]
Crunch time, 18-all...
Maybe China fitness is still well ahead of the world. Never see them tired.
Sung Ji Hyun scrambled all over the court and wins the point. Wang Yihan was in total control till the last shot
Be careful whenever you lift to a tall player.
WYH is a fighter. She can do it!!
Good cross court smash from Sung to go 19-18
SJH really showing some guts and nerves, coming up with the good shots when she needs to.
You know, BOTH players have
WYH mishit the smash wide...would have been a winner.
What a miss!
Challenge from Wang Yihan
2 MPs for SJH! This will be a large sword into China WS.
Disadvantage WYH, MP to SJH, 2 of them.
Match points for sung
If anyone will choke, SJH will. She's almost as bad as TTY.
Again WYH smashes x-ct wide to give the match to SJH.
