I hope all players who entered are fit and we will see some great matches! Especially the MD event is very interesting! Last years Finals day / winners: (Lee Yong Dae missed two titles in MD and MX, the WD was lost, too. Let´s see if Korea can win a title on homesoil this year. If so the title will probably come from MD)

 Time Draw Score Duration

1. Starting at 1:00 PM MD

Yun Cai [1]

Haifeng Fu

-

Jae Sung Jung [2]

Yong Dae Lee

18-21 21-17 21-19 1:18

2. Followed by WD

Qing Tian [2]

Yunlei Zhao

-

Jung Eun Ha [4]

Min Jung Kim

21-18 21-13 0:50

3. Followed by MS

Chong Wei Lee [1]

-

Dan Lin [2]

12-21 21-18 21-14 1:15

4. Followed by WS

Shixian Wang [2]

-

Yanjiao Jiang [6]

21-12 21-17 0:38

5. Followed by XD

Chen Xu [2]

Jin Ma

-

Yong Dae Lee

Jung Eun Ha

21-12 19-21 21-10 1:12

Actually, there have been no major line call controversies since the Korean Open got the Premier status. The status change did coincide with the move to bringing in foreign line judges and this may have helped alleviate the problem. In any case, the direct cause for the lack of Premier status from 2014 is not the past line call issues but rather the fact that they did not bid for one of the Premier tournaments in the fall and the decision not to bid surely had nothing to do with the fact that there were complaints about line calls 3 years ago.
Last update from ts.com that some players have withdrawn : Ajay Jayaram (IND), Taufik Hidayat (INA), Daren Liew (MAS), Sho Sasaki (JPN), Vivian Hoo Kah Mun/Woon Khe Wei (MAS).
Is there a site where we can watch the stream of Korea Open 2013? The LIVE stream from Youtube only starts on the 11th =[
Local hope Lee Dong-keun overcame his compatriot 2006 World Junior Champ Hong Ji-hoon in straight-sets, 21-11 / 21-17.
Chong Wei Feng vs Henri Hurskainen should be interesting. Keep an eye for P Kashyap also. Jorgensen vs Kenichi - battle of brute force.
2012 KOR GP Gold, Lee Dong-keun is sole representative for the host in MS category after he passes Hong Ji-hoon and Thai Pakkawat Vilailak at qualifying round.
Knew he wouldn't last long and would definitely re-appear with a different name. Back to the topic, the real excitement starts tomorrow at 9.00am, Korean time.
Yeah live stream is somewhat we always find it hard to find, usually from R2 onwards if you're lucky....so be patient
