So back on topic, is anyone able to post an updated diagram of spec/balance etc? I can't remember what they are called. But seems that hx is more even balanced than mx range? And I've no idea where the tk9900 sits. Onigiri is a bit like tk6000 it sounds like.
That's the fella. Thanks. Few surprising results on there. Almost looks like the hx800 is trying to replace bs12 rather than mx series.
Does it? From experience it doesn't even come close tbh I find it to be a very meh racket. At least with the 12 (and I think the general consensus would agree) that at least it shined somewhere in some form for most even if everyone didn't agree where it shone. But the HX800 I struggle to find anything about it worth selling
Ch1h0 Obviously the HX800 doesn't suit you. I am finding it to be a fabulous racket, but it took a little time to get used to it. Now I love it and it's the first racket out of my bag every time. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
i dont know what to buy, hypernano or duora can someone gimme some insights on these two pros n cons ? thank you
I see you already made a thread... for your question http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...duora-looking-for-ultimate-all-rounder-racket
lol the answer there isnt satisfying... i still looking up for more information before buying... coz trying the racket unstrung and not use it to play will be different than actual use in the game better asking than regret later
I just got a HX800 MYP. Love the color and the design. I didn't really get to try to play with the racket. This is my first "less stiff" racket. What string would you all suggest for this racket?
I would suggest that you stick to your usual setup. This allows you to have a benchmark when you want to experiment with different strings and tensions. Though Paul does suggest a thinner string.
Yes test your normal set up. For me changing from 69 to 66 gauge really helped. I also increased tension by 1 lb and there was more life in the racket. use Hypernano all the time. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
thanks waterboy and paul. I tried my usual setup BG80 and 28lbs and it is not really ideal. Was thnking of using NBG98 instead. What do you all think?
Maybe is time for you to try and mixed with new and thinner 0.61 Yonex Aerosonic at your preferable tension.
As with all badminton products, you have to test. Other players or coaches cannot tell you which racket, string and tension combination is best for you. Only your body knows this when the three elements come together. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
